During the Third Antiphon of the Palm (Flowery) Sunday Divine Liturgy, the usual Little Entrance took an expanded route around the interior of the church (down the north isle, around the back and up the south isle). The children of the parish, carrying the newly blessed palms and pussywillows, met the clergy and servers outside the Altar and preceded the Holy Gospel Book, the symbol of Christ, around the Church through all of God's people. This was symbolic of the children who went before Jesus crying "Hosanna" and waving branches. Below are two photos of this memorable procession.
