Welcome to Father Vjekoslav Jovicic and Family!! We are delighted to announce that Father Vjekoslav has been assigned as the new full-time priest for our parish. He, along with his wife, Popadija* Dragana, and their three children - Miladan, Teodora & Pavle, will begin at Holy Trinity on February 1st as our new parish priest.

The arrival of a new priest marks an important moment in the life of a parish. This transition offers an opportunity for the community to reflect on its commitment to the Gospel and to the shared life of faith. A warm and open welcome help foster an atmosphere of trust and collaboration, creating a foundation for fruitful ministry and growth.
A priest's ministry flourishes when met with kindness, encouragement, and attentiveness. Simple gestures such as introductions, words of support, and a willingness to engage with his guidance can help him feel supported and valued. Each priest brings unique gifts and perspectives, and transition take time as both priest and parish learn to work together.
This moment calls for patience, prayer, and a willingness to adapt. Prayers for the new priest and parish community are essential, asking God to grant unity and strength to all involved. With gratitude and enthusiasm, this new chapter can become an opportunity to deepen the parish's witness to Christ's love and build a community rooted in faith and service
Glory to God for His provision and care for our parish!

*Popadija is the traditional title for a priest's wife in the Serbian Orthodox tradition. Referring to Dragana as "Popadija" is both respectful and customary.
